Washington's premier crag, with leads of up to about six pitches on clean, steep tertiary granitic rock. Most climbs are steep and often thin cracks, with large numbers of 5.11s and 12s.

A few recommendations:

• Great Northern Slab, 5.6, ***. Twin cracks up a slab. Great novice route with more gear placements than you can shake a stick at.
• Breakfast of Champions, 5.10a, ***. A great slightly overhanging hand crack. Reach via Roger's Corner (5.9)
• Godzilla, 5.9+, ****. Among the best 5.9s anywhere. Crack up a dihedral. Thin Fingers, 5.11a, ****. 80' parallel cracks in great position.
